Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not create with Damon Salvatore AI Trend, which photos you may upload, how every upload and video is moderated, what happens when the rules are broken, and how to report content.
Damon Salvatore AI Trend turns one photo of a real person into a short AI video of that person in one of the two templates of a viral TikTok trend (the Damon Salvatore AI trend: the church walk, also called "Replace my namesake", or The Damon edit). Because the person in the photo is real, this policy is strict. It applies to every upload and every generated video. It is part of our Terms of Service.
The one rule behind everything
Only upload a photo of yourself or of an adult who has agreed to be in your video. Before every generation you confirm: "The person in my photo is me or an adult who agreed to this video; no minors, no public figures, no sexual or harassing content."
Actors and the show
The trend is inspired by a scene from The Vampire Diaries. Do not upload a photo of Ian Somerhalder or of any other actor from the show, or of anyone else who is famous, and do not use Damon Salvatore AI Trend to make it look as if an actor, the show or its studio made, sponsored or approved your video. Damon Salvatore AI Trend is not affiliated with The CW, Warner Bros. or any cast member.
Prohibited content
You may not use Damon Salvatore AI Trend to create, or attempt to create, any of the following.
1. Pornography and sexual content (NSFW)
No nudity, sexual acts, sexually suggestive poses or clothing, or sexualised depictions of any person.
Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) is prohibited, including AI-generated imagery: no sexual, nude or intimate image or video of any real person, whether or not they agreed to be in a video, and no attempt to make one. Accounts that try are closed permanently.
2. Violence and gore
No depictions of violence, injury, weapons used against people, blood, gore or threats.
3. Hate speech and harassment
No content that attacks, demeans or threatens people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic, and no content made to bully, humiliate or harass anyone.
4. Child-unsafe content
No photos of anyone under 18, in any context. Any attempt to create sexual content involving minors is reported to the relevant authorities (including NCMEC) and the account is closed permanently.
5. Impersonation and videos made without consent
No videos of people who have not agreed to be in them. No public figures, celebrities, politicians or influencers, even with a "parody" label. No content meant to deceive anyone into believing a real person said or did something, and no content used for fraud, scams, defamation, advertising or political messaging.
Damon Salvatore AI Trend only makes two fixed templates: you cannot upload a video or audio, every video follows one of the two fixed templates, which we re-created with AI using AI-generated people of our own, and there is no text prompt. Before every generation you confirm that the person in your photo is you or an adult who agreed to the video.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement
No copyrighted characters, artwork, logos or brands you do not own, and no photos taken by someone else that you do not have the right to use. Damon Salvatore AI Trend does not provide stills or logos from the show; do not upload them. Videos come with the trend's soundtrack, which belongs to its rights holders: platforms may mute or restrict a post that uses it, and you can mute it and pick a sound from the platform's own library instead.
How moderation works
Every generation passes automated checks before and after rendering, and a person reviews anything flagged:
- Before generation - input. There is no free-text prompt: the scene and the shots are fixed by us, so users cannot steer the video with words. Every photo is checked by automated AI image moderation for nudity, minors and other unsafe content before a video is made from it.
- After generation, before you see it. The finished video is checked by automated AI video moderation. A video that fails is held for review: it is not shown to you unless a person finds it was blocked by mistake.
- Distribution. Videos are private to your account. Damon Salvatore AI Trend has no public gallery or feed and never publishes your videos; you decide where to post them.
When a check blocks a photo, no credits are charged. When the final check blocks a finished video, a person reviews it within 60 minutes and either delivers it (if it was blocked by mistake) or refunds the credits; if no one has reviewed it by then, the credits are refunded automatically. We keep a log of automated decisions and human reviews.
Enforcement
Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:
- block the generation and delete the content;
- remove videos from your library;
- suspend or permanently ban your account;
- forfeit remaining credits on accounts banned for serious or repeated violations (purchased credits on accounts banned for child-safety violations, fraud or deliberate impersonation are not refunded);
- report illegal content to law enforcement.
Appeals
If you think a photo or video was blocked by mistake, email support@damonsalvatoreaitrend.com with the date and roughly what you uploaded. A person reviews every appeal, usually within 48 hours, and if the block was wrong we restore your credits.
Reporting content
If you see a video made with Damon Salvatore AI Trend that breaks this policy or uses your image or your photo without permission, email support@damonsalvatoreaitrend.com with a link or description. This inbox is monitored by a person. We act on reports within 48 hours.
