What is the Damon Salvatore trend?

What happens in the video

The church walk ("Replace my namesake", 20 seconds) follows this sequence of shots:

• The church: in a daylight church with wooden pews, heads turn as you walk in through the doors.
• The smile: a close-up in the church as you smile at the camera, then a dark room.
• The drive: quick cuts behind the wheel of a convertible, in sunglasses.
• The night: outside after dark, a wave and a close-up.
• The kitchen: a last glance back over your shoulder.

The Damon edit (17 seconds) is the other template: you in a dim room, looking at the camera with a slow smile, then night by a car, a back-lit silhouette, a carport, a convertible in black sunglasses, a kitchen, a shout in a dark room and a cold stare outdoors. See the Damon edit with AI.

The sound: one soundtrack runs under the whole video; on Damon Salvatore AI Trend it is already on your video.

Where the trend came from

• Late September 2026: a PixVerse template starts the first wave of Damon Salvatore AI videos on TikTok.
• Early October: a quiet spell, with only a few new posts.
• From October 15: a second, bigger wave of CapCut template posts and tutorials.
• By October 21: several websites make the video from one photo, without CapCut or PixVerse.

Why people love it

The Vampire Diaries has a long-running fan base, and Damon Salvatore's slow, confident walk is easy to recognise. The template lets anyone play the lead for a few seconds, and the run-up to Halloween suits the vampire theme.

How to make your own

You can use a free app template, film it yourself, or make "Replace my namesake" (the church walk) or The Damon edit with AI from one photo. The CapCut template guide compares them in detail.
